The towering, geometric Bob Dylan mural downtown at 5th and Hennepin is definitely a sight to see – in fact, at five stories tall, it’s hard to miss! Created by Brazilian artist Eduardo Kobra, the texture in the skin and hair of this black and white portrait is stunning.
Arts of Africa & the Americas
With works ranging from prehistory to the present, this collection at the Minneapolis Institute of Art (aka the Minneapolis Museum) is so massive it’s actually an entire department. With more than 5,500 pieces, there is plenty to see here.
Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit Minneapolis
Intrigued by Van Gogh and his works? This is your chance to get an up close look at the genius behind his paintings. This digital exhibit at Lighthouse Minneapolis offers an enhanced, enlarged presentation of Van Gogh’s artwork on large-scale projection screens allowing you to see every single brush stroke.
